She hears and sees the rain fall like a curtain outside the hole.
Karina manages to find a bedcove within her large surroundings and she curls on the pillows of the strange waystation she's found. She let's the sound of rain make her sleep and she does.
Hours later...
The surreal sound of chirping vultures stir her awake. Karina brushes back her long gloss black hair. She doesn't know how long she slept but she crawls out of the hole and back on the path. She inhales the sweet aroma of the jungle which shoots up her nostrils.

She reaches the edge of the waterfall and stares down at the water as it splashes into a azure lagoon. She dives off the edge of the waterfall and plummets into the cool stream of the waterfall. The water is cool and she swims flexing her muscles. She's unaware of she's being watched.
